15,000L/day biological Treatment System
The CEEC team designed and built a 15,000 liters per day biological wastewater treatment system for the Badulla Municipal Council Hunukotuwa Market. They conducted a site assessment and selected a Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) for its flexibility and efficiency. The system was tailored to handle peak wastewater loads, with robust aeration and sludge management components. Infrastructure development included constructing tanks for aeration, settling, and decanting phases, while advanced monitoring and control systems were installed to automate operations and ensure compliance with local discharge standards.
